Built From Sound.
Expanded Through Experience.
TheorySound Production is a Maryland-based creative and technical production company led by Edmond Benson — producer, audio engineer, live production professional, and teaching artist.
Different Rooms. The Same Way of Working.
The work moves across recording studios, live stages, professional AV environments, learning spaces, organizations, and community programs. What connects those environments is not a single service.
It is how the work is approached: listen first, prepare deeply, stay calm under pressure, and use technical mastery to create more room for creativity, people, and the experience itself.
TheorySound began with sound. Over time, the work widened because the same strengths kept showing up in different places: listening closely, translating a need into a system, teaching clearly, solving in real time, and helping people do their work with greater confidence.
Technical Mastery in Service of the Work.
Creative
Hear what the work is trying to become and help shape a path toward it.
Technical
Build reliable systems, understand the signal flow, and solve with precision.
Human
Listen well, communicate clearly, and make the room easier to work in.
Grounded
Stay prepared and calm enough to respond to what the moment actually needs.
